Leg 2: 3K KAYAK

hosted by the Rogue Rowing Club

The race starts and finishes at the dock at the north end of Picnic Area B.

Leg 2 color is GREEN - follow green arrows. Keep buoys on your LEFT on the water.

Please bring kayaks to the lake starting at 4 p.m. Friday until dark, OR on Saturday morning any time before the race. You will not be able to drive directly to the dock after 8 a.m. on Saturday. You will be able to drive into the parking lot and portage your kayak to the launch area.

Follow safety considerations & directions from volunteers. Challenge will begin with kayaks in the water. Kayak across lake to Songer Point, dogleg RIGHT, hang a U-TURN at LARGE buoy & head back. Go around 1 more buoy in the lake, head back to far side dock. Volunteers will get your kayak off the dock. Run up to the timing chute, cross in front of timer and Leg 3 Cyclist will begin. (Come back & take your kayak to where you want it).

KEEP BUOYS ALWAYS ON YOUR LEFT SIDE.
