The 6th Siskiyou Challenge will be held on April 30, 2016

Due to many unforeseen conflicts and considerations, Rogue Valley Farm to School is postponing its annual fundraising event, the Siskiyou Challenge. RVF2S is taking this opportunity to improve the race in a way we have long considered: we're moving the race to the spring. The 6th Siskiyou Challenge will be held on April 30, 2016. We feel positive about the opportunity to change the time of year the race will take place moving forward. The fall has posed a variety of challenges from low water levels at the lake and a dry rutted mountain bike course to a very full fall race and nonprofit events calendar. Hosting the event in the fall one year then switching to spring the next does not allow enough time between Siskiyou Challenges. The accumulation of a mix of issues this year has led to the decision to wait for next spring.

6th Annual Siskiyou Challenge • Saturday, April 30, 2016

The Siskiyou Challenge is open to recreational and competitive racers. The event is a 6-leg multi-sport relay race that raises funds for Rogue Valley Farm to School

The race course is 46 miles in and around beautiful Ashland, Oregon.  The Siskiyou Challenge begins and ends at ScienceWorks Hands-On Museum.

Festivities begin Friday afternoon with a BBQ at Emigrant Lake. Everyone is welcome, reservations can be placed here. The BBQ overlooks the kayak course and provides an opportunity to drop off the kayaks and gear to be ready for the morning.

While athletes are circling Ashland, we will once again welcome folks of all ages to join the Fun Run and Harvest Fest and to enjoy festivities occurring throughout the day.

Race awards will take place at 1:30pm.

Athletes and volunteers are needed to make this event a success.

All entry fees are fully tax-deductible as donations to support
Rogue Valley Farm to School.

Volunteer Opportunities

Siskiyou Challenge is grateful for the support of many generous volunteers! The race depends on more than 100 volunteers to lend a hand starting in July, until a few days after the race. We would love your help!
